Have You Received God’s Gift?
The Bible is God's message of love to you. He loves you so much that “…He
gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish
but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV). Romans 3:23 says that
every one of us has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God – we’ve
all missed the mark.
When you choose to receive God’s gift of salvation – when
you dedicate or rededicate your life to Jesus Christ – you can know
that you will spend eternity with God.
1 John 5:13 (NKJV) says, “These things I have written to you who believe
in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life,
and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.” This
means that you don’t have to wonder if you’re right with God or not – you
can know for sure that you are saved!
If you’ve never asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, or if you feel
the need to rededicate your life to Him, we invite you to do so now. When you
pray this simple prayer from your heart, you can know that you are on your way
to heaven!
"Dear God,
I come to you in Jesus' Name. I believe that Jesus is Your Son, that He was born
of a virgin and that He lived a life without sin. I believe He paid for my sins,
and I receive forgiveness for every sin I've ever committed. Thank you for forgiving
me and washing me in the blood of Jesus and making me clean. I believe Jesus
died and was buried, and that He rose again on the third day, victorious over
death, sin and the devil. I turn my back on my old ways. I'm not going to
live to
please
myself any longer. I make Jesus Lord of my life and I'm going to live for Him
every day. Thank you for loving me, accepting me and forgiving me. Thank you
that I'm on my way to heaven. In Jesus' name, amen."
