“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…”
Revelation 12:11
There are thousands of religions in the world, but Christianity is different from all the rest. While others focus on trying to reach God through sacrifices or good deeds, Christianity teaches that salvation and connection with God cannot be earned by human effort. Instead, God Himself initiated the ultimate sacrifice to redeem us.
As the sinless Lamb of God, Jesus shed His perfect blood to totally pay the penalty for our sins. His sacrifice wasn’t just for a select group of really good people. What He did may best be described by Hebrews 10:14 in the Message Bible: “It was a perfect sacrifice by a perfect person to perfect some very imperfect people. By that single offering, He did everything that needed to be done for everyone who takes part in the purifying process.”
Through Jesus, we are not only forgiven; we are made righteous. Second Corinthians 5:21 tells us, “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” This great exchange is the heart of salvation. When you received Jesus, God took your guilt and put ion Jesus, and He took Jesus’s righteousness and gave it to you.
When the enemy brings accusations against you, don’t argue—just plead the blood. Jesus, your Advocate, is standing before the Father on your behalf. His blood has paid the full price for every sin and regret. When you say—“I plead the blood! I have been forgiven, made righteous, and I belong to Jesus!”—you are silencing the accuser. Your testimony, grounded in that truth, is a powerful weapon. So stand firm, and plead the blood!
